A walk through the sanctuary has yielded five drawings. Please enjoy our little hike and scroll down to view the drawing below.
Day 1: This is the first drawing in a series of 5 inspired by our winter walk through Inglewood Bird Sanctuary It was drawn well within the two hour challenge.
Day 2: The second drawing in a series of 5 inspired by our winter walk through Inglewood Bird Sanctuary. Inglewood is a mess: its for the birds after all.
Day 3: (This took longer than 2 hours.) We went to Inglewood Bird Sanctuary looking for geese, but they have followed the Chinook to the fields to glean and I made do with this Chickadee.
Day 4: Drawing Challenge: Behind these tanker cars lies one of Calgary’s great treasure, The Inglewood Bird Sanctuary. Devastated a few years ago by the leaking of petroleum into the ground and now seriously affected by the 2013 flood it is ready to reassert its status as a great place to visit.
Day 5: Inglewood Bird Sanctuary is ready to receive guests! Not all the paths are open and the ponds haven’t filled but you can see the charm of Alberta in the centre of our city.
